00:00All right, also a big month, as always, for FanDuel.

00:06I saw yesterday that they are dominating the market share in a lot of different places

00:10across the country.

00:12And with that comes responsibility and putting out an interesting statement or basically

00:16a, like a PowerPoint almost, it looked like, about them, I mean, honestly, about them focusing

00:21on all of the right things, meaning figuring out how much people are wagering on, maybe

00:27potentially max bets, responsible gaming, you know, so certainly for people who are

00:32out there, they can read more about this over at Legal Sports Report, but tell us more about

00:35their goals.

00:36Yeah, so I'm going to leave most of this recap of the Flutter Investment Day, which was yesterday

00:42to Sam McQuillan, who will be on with you again early next week.

00:45He was there, he was covering it.

00:47I heard he got a cool backpack out of it, so good for Sam.

00:52But yeah, they, of course, are pretty much the undisputed market leader at this point.

00:56I mean, you know, a lot of people are saying it's, and it is really one-two with them and

01:00DraftKings, but FanDuel has the leg up in most states, most markets.

01:05And so they're here setting the precedent and setting the goals and everything, and

01:09they really want to be a leader in every category they can be.

01:13And of note, which, you know, really falls into my area of the legislative regulatory

01:18area, is they really signified that Texas, Florida, and California are going to be huge,

01:25you know, points of interest in the coming years, and they need to figure out how to

01:29readjust their approach to legalize those states for themselves and the other sports

01:35books in the state.

01:36I mean, Florida, you have Hard Rock, but, you know, they'd like to be there as well,

01:39as you can imagine.

01:40I mean, those three states make up a huge portion of the U.S. population, and, you know,

01:47if they can get in there, they're saying, you know, the U.S. market could be a $63 million

01:53by 2027, and that's, you know, counting two of three of those states.

01:59And then I think 20% or 80% of the population having sports betting, and then another 20

02:04or 25% having iGaming.

02:06So, you know, they're setting pretty ambitious goals, but those are the projections they

02:10are putting out there, and we'll see kind of where it goes from here.

02:15You know, those three states have been trouble so far, Texas, you know, we've got people

02:20in Nebraska saying, or Oklahoma saying it could be this next year, but again, who knows?

02:25There's lots of issues in California to overcome, and then, of course, lots of issues in Florida

02:29overcome to have an open market there.

02:31So, you know, a lot of interesting things out of there, and again, I'll let Sam McQuillan

02:34kind of fill in those holes next week.

02:37He was there listening intently and talking to people and seeing what everybody's thinking
