00:30support, I bid you a great afternoon and a warm welcome. Lord Mayor, the Lieutenant is

00:41most grateful to you and to your team for supporting us in our endeavours this afternoon

00:49in hosting and delivering the investiture ceremony. We're grateful too to you, High

00:57Sheriff, and to Lord Mayors of Coventry and the Worshipful Mayors from Dudley, Sandwell,

01:07Surrey Island, Wolverhampton, who joined us today with their consuls. With us today is

01:16one of 21 of my Deputy Lieutenants who work tirelessly and voluntarily, not only at ceremonies

01:28like today's ceremony, but at numerous other events across the full band of the region

01:36to ensure that we collectively serve and support the West Midlands region in many and varied

01:45ways. I'm also absolutely delighted to have with me eight Lord Lieutenant Cadets who have

01:55been excellent in supporting me over the weeks I've been Lord Lieutenant and who will be

02:03helping out today and adding to the proceedings as well.
