00:07Sanusi Noor's apology for making offensive remarks against the ruler last year.

00:13In a letter today, Sultan Sharafuddin said he did not want Muslims to harbour enmity

00:21The Selangor Sultan also said he wanted to take the opportunity to advise the public

00:26to always be mindful of their words and actions.

00:30He said he did not want people to become accustomed to hearing abusive language or baseless allegations

00:36from leaders.

00:39Yesterday, Sanusi acknowledged that the remarks he made at a ceremony in July last year were

00:44offensive and disrespectful.

00:48In his apology, the past leader said he was deeply remorseful over his remarks and promised

00:53to exercise greater caution with his statements in the future.
