Cat shows new kitten who's boss - by grabbing young pet by scruff of neck

This footage shows a cat teaching his family's new kitten who's boss - by picking it up by the neck and dragging it across a counter.

Olivia Goodman, 28, was enjoying a night in when she saw her older cat Frank discipline her new pet Whelan.

Frank, six, has been living with Olivia since he was a kitten so is well aware of the house rules, but five-month-old Whelan is still learning.

Video shows Whelan stood atop the kitchen counter before Frank jumps up and grabs the scruff of Whelan's neck in his mouth.

Whelan goes limp, as kittens do when held in this way, and Frank carries him back down to the floor.
