00:10Melvin Jerusalem kept the WBC World Minimum Weight Belt in his hands

00:15after defeating the mandatory title challenger, Luis Castillo of Mexico

00:21in their fight this Sunday night in the Mandaluyong City College Gymnasium.

00:25In the first round, Jerusalem knocked Castillo down

00:29by connecting his big and fast jab-straight combination.

00:33Despite this, the Mexican defended his title

00:36and managed to keep him in the ring until the end.

00:40The champion admitted that he was defeated here.

00:44I hit him a few times, but he didn't show up.

00:47But the Mexican was really strong.

00:49Even so, Castillo was not able to form

00:52and Jerusalem won via unanimous decision

00:55118-109, 120-107, and 120-107.

01:01The next target of the fight was a title unification bout.

01:05Meanwhile, the former IBF World Junior Featherweight Champion,

01:10Jerwin Angkahas, won his first fight in the Philippines in 8 years.

01:15Pretty Boy's opponent, Supraserd Puntipak, was disqualified

01:19because Angkahas was beaten several times

01:22even though he received a point deduction

01:24and several warnings from the referee.

01:40The Mandaluyong fighters were worth it
