Kilmarnock winger Kian Leslie wants to use his loan spell at Elgin City to force himself into Rugby Park club’s future plans.

00:34Yeah, I'd say that's my best position. I can play off the right, off the left and sometimes even behind the striker.

00:39But I feel most confident on the right.

00:41From the start of the summer, I always knew I was probably going to go out on loan and get some football, first team football.

00:46I still feel I need to be playing regularly.

00:48So, yeah, it's exciting.

00:50What message have you been given by Derek McInnes to you all coming here on loan?

00:54Just to go and show what I can do.

00:56I've got the talent, so I just need to go and learn and prove myself out here.

01:00Yeah, dominating the ball and creating a lot of chances, I feel it suits me.

01:04I just want to keep playing and keep myself in the team.

01:07Well, you created a goal in your first game, obviously, with the equalising goal on Saturday.

01:10That must have been a good feeling.

01:11Yeah, it was. Very good feeling.

01:13That's what I feel I'm good at, getting crosses into the box and creating chances.

01:18So, you'll be counting up the assists, hopefully, in this few months.

01:21You're going to be at Elgin and maybe one or two goals to chip in as well.

01:23That's what I like to do, I like to improve my numbers.
