00:00Maggie Sajak divides fans with behind-the-scenes tour of Wheel of Fortune set changes.
00:06Viewers have had no problem sharing their unfiltered opinions of the completely redesigned Wheel of Fortune set.
00:13Wheel of Fortune is ushering in a lot of changes with season 42, and not all viewers are happy about it.
00:20First, Ryan Seacrest made his debut as the host and replaced longtime presenter Pat Sajak,
00:27who retired after 40-plus years, and the game show's 41st season, which wrapped this past June.
00:34Now, we're learning the depth of all the updates made to the fan-favourite puzzle game Set & It.
00:40Goes far beyond what people at home watching could probably pick up on screen.
00:44The apparently divisive changes were put on full display at a behind-the-scenes video shared by Maggie Sajak,
00:51the show's social correspondent and daughter of its former host.
00:55You might have noticed a few changes to the set since last season.
01:00Maggie began in a clip uploaded to the official Wheel of Fortune Instagram page on Wednesday.
01:06Sept. 18.
01:08The 29-year-old then walked fans through all of the modifications made ahead of the season premiere on Monday.
01:15Sept. 9, which included a refreshed gold sign with the updated Woff logo.
01:21A vibrant sunburst backdrop.
01:24A new LED screen platform.
01:26And a different border around the puzzle board.
01:29The entrance used by Seacrest and co-star Vanna White to get onto the stage was redesigned, too.
01:35And so was the orientation of the set as Maggie explained that the massive wheel was
01:41moved to a different spot in the studio, though she said the wheel itself was not replaced.
01:47While some fans loved the new set and praised the team responsible
01:51for the beautiful design and great job on the updates, others sorely missed the old set-up.
01:57Sorry, bad set design, one Instagram user wrote.
02:01To garish.
02:03A few changes and it's the entire set a second quipped.
02:07The new set is horrible, another critic exclaimed before begging the designers to undo what they did.
02:14Why do they always have to mess with what isn't broken?
02:18Colors are too bold and bright please bring back the other stage set.
02:22Ugly set, a different user lamented.
02:25Don't care for the new set, someone else wrote, suggesting that in the end,
02:31it wasn't a big deal and wouldn't stop them from trying to become a contestant.
