A mum-of-three says her world "collapsed" after losing her daughter, getting a divorce and being diagnosed with breast cancer twice, in the space of three years.   Heidi Price, 53, lived an “ordinary” life with her ex-husband and three children, up until 2021.   After eldest daughter Stacy, 20, took her own life, her family was left “in tatters.”   In January 2023, her divorce was finalised, and she spent the next six months working out at the gym, going on dates and regaining her confidence.   But in July 2023, she was diagnosed with ductal carcinoma - a non-invasive form of breast cancer.

00:00Right now unfortunately I'm having a setback with my recovery. I just had

00:06another surgery today apparently where I had radiation a year ago. That skin is

00:16not healing properly. The stitches are not working so they had to go in and

00:26redo the stitches and fix some things today and then they had to put more

00:32drains in me. I hate drains. For anybody that has had to have drains it sucks. I

00:40have to have the drains for two weeks and I'm in a lot of pain. Thank goodness

00:49for pain meds. So I'm just hanging in there and hoping that I can be normal

00:55again soon at some point here. But I'm still gonna go down and look at the

01:03sunset 730 because that is the highlight of my day seeing the beautiful sunset.
