This is one Mini film of a project of eight documentary films that are now in the process of being edited.
These eight mini films hope to anticipate the sense of what the films of 52 minutes approx. each will be like.
The project "olhares nómadas/nomad eyes" is a social audiovisual project practicing ways
to enlarge the spectrum of points of view inside reality.
Creating documentary films in which different communities participate in the creative process of filmaking.

The Akha are an indigenous community original from Mongolia and in constant migration. Som Thone is a young Akha. When he was 22 years old he went to study in Vientianne, the capital of Lao. After finishing his studies he started working in the tourist office of Phongsally, the nearest city to his village. We met there and decided to go on this journey together, to his home village. A dreamlike trip tale about the encounter itself.

Os Akha são uma tribo indígena originalmente da Mongólia em constante migração. Som Thone é um rapaz Akha, que aos 22 anos foi estudar para a capital, Vientianne. Terminados os estudos foi trabalhar para o Centro de Turismo de Phongsally, a cidade mais próxima da sua aldeia natal onde nos conhecemos e decidimos ir juntos até à sua aldeia natal. Uma viagem-conto-onirico sobre o encontro em si.
