00:00House of Representatives has already started the plenary debate for the upcoming budget for the next year.

00:07Mela Lesmoras has a report. Mela?

00:11Yes, Nina. The plenary deliberations of the Camera for the House Bill No. 1,800

00:19or the 6.35 trillion pesos 2025 national budget

00:25are based on the schedule of the Camera. It was scheduled for eight days for the so-called plenary deliberations.

00:32It's not different from the usual schedule of 3 p.m. to 10 a.m. when the plenary session of the Camera started.

00:40The main agenda is to have a plenary debate.

00:44To his surprise, House Speaker Marvin Romadez encouraged his fellow lawmakers to work quickly and with confidence

00:52while making sure that the budget proposal is correct and in accordance with the statute of limitations.

00:58Their target is to read the budget proposal within this month before the session break.

01:03When House Speaker Romadez announced the 2025 General Appropriations Bill in the Agenda for Prosperity of the Administration of Marcos,

01:13he assured their dedication and efforts for the on-time passage of his budget proposal.
