00:14Yeah, I got a close shave today. I even cut myself. Got a couple cuts. Yeah, good.

00:18Yeah, you know, I've been clean-shaven these days. I'm doing a lot of motion capture on this film.

00:26And so for maximum data facial capture, I got to be clean-shaven.

00:33Have you seen yourself as a thing yet?

00:36I've seen kind of crude renderings of it, but nothing nearly what it's going to look like.

00:42They've got so many different vendors, amazing animators working on it.

00:46Literally hundreds of people working on it.

00:48And so we've been shooting for about six weeks, and I haven't been able to see anything yet.

00:53I don't know exactly what the lead time is. I don't know. I'm very excited to see something.

00:58What's it like seeing the rest of the cast and their superhero get-ups?

01:04It's exciting. Yeah, they're beautiful. My cast is amazing.

01:08Who's the most beautiful?

01:10Oh, my God. I mean, you got Joseph Quinn, you got Vanessa Kirby, Pedro Pascal.

01:14I mean, this is a great-looking crowd. No, but there's beautiful hearts, man.

01:23I was with them yesterday. I was shooting yesterday.

01:25Where are you shooting?

01:26We're shooting in London. I worked yesterday, hopped on the plane, came over here.

01:30Did they send you off with, like, good luck? Did they give you a cake, a bottle of champagne?

01:36There was a bunch of flowers and a bottle of champagne in my hotel room when I walked in for my Fantastic Four family.

01:42So, yeah, how about you?

02:53How often are you laughing when you're reading the script?

02:59I think the scripts are really funny, yeah.

03:03I, sorry, that made me start to think about the process of what I do when I read.

03:07And I was like, how often do I emote out loud?

03:10But I laugh a lot internally.

03:12Yes, and then also, like, on set, yeah.

03:15What do you say to people who say, it's a drama, it's not a comedy?

03:18I mean, I think, I don't really say anything.

03:21I think those are, like, conversations for other people to have.

03:24And our conversation is in the work.

03:28But I laugh, and I think people laugh.

03:30Yeah, I think the show is really funny.

03:32I don't know, comedy, drama, I mean, who cares, man, really?

03:36It's like, I think people care.

03:38And I think it is an important conversation to have.

03:40But I think it's like, I don't know, I think the show is funny.

03:43And I also think it's like, the work is good.

03:45And we're celebrating a lot of really amazing shows.

03:48So I'm not really interested in discourse that's, like, insulting to anyone, really.

03:54Are you directing more episodes?

03:56Hopefully, I would love to.

03:58I had a really great time directing.

04:00And a feature?

04:01That would be nice.

04:02Something in the works?

04:04Sure, if you're financing, let's go.

04:08Tell me what it's like hearing action from her.

04:13I mean, for me, the experience of working with Aya as a director,

04:18as opposed to a scene partner, was very seamless.

04:21Because it's a very collaborative set as it is.

04:23She's a generous director.

04:24And it was just like, it just felt easy.

04:26It felt kind of the same to me.

04:29Yeah.

04:30You know?

04:31I found Eben to be really difficult.

04:33No, it was great.

04:34I think it was our third season.

04:38And so I think I also had the benefit of knowing how he works as an actor.

04:43And also, like, our crew.

04:45Knowing them in a way and being able to translate that.

04:48Yeah, but it was a blast.

04:49I really, really enjoyed it.

04:50And I felt truly so lucky to get to direct these actors.

04:55And it gave me such an appreciation of how lucky I am when I work with them.

05:00Because, yeah, you're just amazing.

05:03Has Jeremy sent you a recorded voice note of him singing as Bruce Springsteen?

05:08Well, I also am on that set as well.

05:10Yeah.

05:11So, yeah.

05:12So I don't need it.
