00:00What was it like getting to tell more of Tina's story in season 3 of The Bear?
00:04It was an amazing gift. The writing, I fell in love with the episode.
00:10I was so grateful to get to see more of who people like Tina really are and their humanity.
00:18So yeah, I cried a lot. I'm proud of it.
00:22I cried watching the episode. It's such an emotional episode.
00:25Yeah, I get a lot of messages from people who went deep into that same journey
00:32or whose mothers went through that journey or their aunts.
00:37And they're really grateful to be seen.
00:41Ayo directed that episode. How would you describe her directing style?
00:45She's like an old pro. We have a trust already built up.
00:51She was open and it was collaborative.
00:54She did so much research that by the time we showed up to shoot it was so easy.
01:01What do you hope we maybe get to see from Tina and learn about her in season 4?
01:06That she continues to up her game and that we all succeed somehow.
01:15That's amazing. We can't wait to see it.
01:17And for you, it's just been an amazing past few seasons for the show
01:20but especially this year. Every award show, The Bear is up there on stage.
01:24How would you say your life has changed this past year?
01:27It feels like it's happening to somebody else.
01:31But I'm just so grateful to do great work.
01:36That's the main thing.
01:38I get to be with the best people who respect the work,
01:44who respect each other. We have so much fun.
01:48And that the viewers feel it and are moved by it.
01:53Have you seen any scripts for season 4 yet?
01:57You're like, I can't say.
02:00Fair enough. But we can't wait to see it all when it all comes together.
