00:00The PhilHealth Board of Directors has approved to increase the package for hemodialysis again.

00:06From the current amount of Php 4,000, it will be increased to Php 6,350 per session.

00:13The increase in the package will be followed by a hearing of the Benefits Committee from the hospitals,

00:19dialysis centers, and also from the Philippine Society of Nephrology

00:23where it mentioned the ongoing challenge that is being faced by the dialysis providers.

00:28Here, the private dialysis units are allowed to issue money

00:33if their service is beyond the minimum standards of care.

00:38They are also allowed to pay an additional professional fee of up to Php 450.
