Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill acknowledged Wednesday that he could have handled himself better in the initial moments of a weekend traffic stop that left him handcuffed and pulled out of his car by police officers near the team's stadium.

00:06But the thing about me is, man, I don't want attention.

00:12I don't wanna be cameras out, phones on you in that moment.

00:17But at the end of the day, I'm human, I gotta follow rules.

00:24I gotta do what everyone else would do.

00:31So now, does that give them the right to literally beat the dog out of me?

00:37Absolutely not.

00:38But at the end of the day, I wish I could go back and

00:45do things a bit differently.

00:47It's shell shocking, man.

00:49It's really crazy to know that you have officers in this

00:55world that would literally do that with body cams on.

01:02It's sad, it's really sad, which brings up another conversation and

01:08leads into what would they do if they didn't have body cams, which is even crazier.

01:14So it's a lot to unpack, man, it's a lot to unpack.

01:20It's a lot we can learn.

01:21I think in football, how we get better from things is,

01:25we watch the tape and we get better from it.

01:28In this instance, we should do the same.

01:33A lot of people wanna critique, a lot of people wanna criticize,

01:35a lot of people wanna do this.

01:36But I think this can be a learning tool for everybody.

01:41Everybody, civilians, officers around the world,

01:48how to do conduct whenever they pull people over, we all can learn, man.

01:54We in this thing together, we live in this thing, we on earth together.

01:58So the only way we get better is, A, we hold ourselves accountable and

02:04we get better from it.

02:06That's how I get better at football, so.
