00:10of Hogwarts. HBO confirmed the casting call to Variety and it's truly an opportunity

00:16of a lifetime for aspiring young actors and actresses.

00:20The search is on for children aged 9 to 11 who are residents of the UK or Ireland to

00:25take on the iconic roles of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. This casting

00:30is all about inclusivity with a strong focus on diverse representation.

00:35HBO's casting notice makes it clear that they're seeking performers from all backgrounds

00:40with no restrictions on race, ethnicity, gender identity or other protected characteristics.

00:47To apply, aspiring actors are asked to submit a short video minus 30 seconds maximum reciting

00:52a poem or story not related to Harry Potter and then follow it up with a 1 minute video

00:57about themselves including details like age, height and where they live.
