Billy Zane brings Marlon Brando back to life in the upcoming biopic *Waltzing with Brando*, hitting theaters on **September 19**. The film, based on architect Bernard Judge’s 2011 memoir, follows Brando’s dream in the late 1960s to transform a remote Tahitian atoll, Tetiaroa, into an eco-friendly paradise.
Zane not only stars as Brando but also produces the film, which premiered at the 2024 Torino Film Festival. Jon Heder plays Bernard Judge, the architect tasked with turning Brando’s wild vision into reality — despite no water, food, or electricity on the island.
The movie blends island misadventures with glimpses of Brando’s Hollywood life during his *Godfather* years, offering both comedy and insight into the legendary actor's passion for sustainability. Directed by Bill Fishman, the cast also includes Tia Carrere, Richard Dreyfuss, Rob Corddry, and more.
