00:00Look, I understand crazy things happen in week one of the NFL, and to be honest, I kind

00:09of like taking the points with a lot of these teams.

00:11It was worth doing in a lot of cases in the NFL in week one, but to think that the Patriots

00:15could go to Cincinnati and win the game, and by the way, win very convincingly, it wasn't

00:22like the Bengals had the ball kicking a field goal at the end of the game where they were

00:25near the goal line or anything like that.

00:27I got to tell you, I want to say it's embarrassing for the Bengals, but I'm going to say great

00:31job to the New England Patriots for coming out very prepared to win this game.

00:35Yeah, they were definitely prepared on both lines.

00:38That's where they kind of dominated the game, offensive line and defensive line, and I don't

00:42care what the Bengals said, this distraction with Jamar Chase and Tee Higgins and not all

00:49being out there together, Joe Burrow coming off an injured end to last season, I think

00:54they came out rusty, but this is the case all the time with the Bengals.

00:58I mean, Joe Burrow, I believe, is now one and four in openers.

01:01They're not very good under Zach Taylor in the first two games, and now they get the

01:05Chiefs in Kansas City in the next game, so it's brutal.

01:09I mean, it's potentially digging themselves out of an 0-2 hole now that they didn't expect

01:14in a game against, quite frankly, what everyone has pegged as the worst team in the NFL, so

01:20I think we know the Panthers are now that team, but the Patriots, credit to them, and

01:24a good matchup this week against Seattle, who was impressive in Denver, or beating Denver

01:29this week.

01:30So I'm excited for that game.

01:31Two 1-0 surprise teams this year, the season with rookie coaches there, Drogba and Mike

01:36McDonald.

01:37Yeah, I'm probably going to pivot the contrarian side on both those games this week, Vinny,

01:43because again, if I've learned anything in week one of the NFL is ignore it.

01:47My guess is I'll probably end up taking Seattle, and I'll probably end up taking Cincinnati

01:51with as many points as they're going to give me against Kansas City this week, because

01:54I got to tell you, Vinny, I want to give credit to the Patriots, but here is where I'm certainly

01:58not a believer.

01:59I don't believe the Patriots in any other game this season, Vinny, call me crazy, are

02:05going to rush for 170 yards in an NFL game.

02:08I just don't think it's going to happen.

02:09Credit to them.

02:10They had the right game plan.

02:13This is the only way they're going to win games in the NFL, but Vinny, 170 yards, the

02:17Bengals should be embarrassed.

02:18Yeah, I mean, that's the only path to victory, as you mentioned.

02:23I mean, they're going to run the ball a lot.

02:25I mean, their leading receivers are Austin Hooper and Hunter Henry at tight end.

02:29They're telling you that we're going to put these guys in line and try to run down their

02:33throat.

02:34That's the only way we can win games, and they know that with defense in the running

02:37game.

02:38Now, that's what was atrocious about the Bengals.

02:40They just weren't prepared for that, and I think, clearly, they were out of sync offensively.

02:44All these times missed in practice, and Joe Burrow needed to get on the page with his

02:49receivers, and then the mysterious absence of Jamar Chase Layton, and Teagan's not playing.

02:55That told you that the Bengals were not prepared to play.

02:58If we had all that information going in, they were not the lock.

03:01I had the Bills as the lock this week.

03:03Luckily, they were able to escape late that one.
