00:00I'll tell you what dumps me down, too much scrolling on the phone.
00:09I can see it affecting my work.
00:11I can see it affecting my mind, it's struggling to be present in a scene, talking specifically
00:17about how it affects my work, my art.
00:19I can't be present, it's that restlessness, it's the jitteriness, it's the brain fog
00:24that kicks in with too much of social media, too much of technology usage or screen exposure.
00:30That happens to me quite a lot, which I recognised over the last year or so and I've been actively
00:36trying to, especially when I'm filming, I try to stay away from phones as much as possible
00:41so that you're there, you're present, even if you're getting bored, it's okay, get bored.
00:49Absolutely, it's like very Catch-22, you have to do that also, but then if you're doing
00:53that, so we go into phases, like when I'm shooting, I try to stay away from it, but
00:57then you're on promotions and you have so much content that has to go up, you're obviously
01:00on it a lot more, but something that exercises the brain for me, I would say, is reading.
01:06I'm an avid reader and I feel like the more, I've experienced that a lot, you know, like
01:10if I read continuously for like two, three weeks, I can see it helping my work because
01:13we're oiling the machine inside, right?
01:15And we're also oiling our imagination constantly, and as an actor, that's what you have to do,
01:20you're constantly imagining, so that's something that really helps.
