I'm Conor Bradley and I play for Northern Ireland and Liverpool FC,
00:03
but while I might be fast on the pitch, I would urge people to slow down on the roads.
00:07
The Share the Road to Zero campaign aims to reduce road death to zero by encouraging us
00:12
to take more responsibility and care. More than one quarter of all speed
00:16
offences last year involved young drivers. Road traffic collisions can be totally devastating,
00:22
and sadly the number of people who have lost their lives on the roads has risen.
00:26
More than nine out of ten collisions are due to human error. We can all try to be more careful,
00:31
watch our speed, stay off our mobiles and make sure we never take drink or drugs on drive.
00:37
I'm putting my full support behind the campaign and I hope I encourage others to think about
00:41
our behaviours on the road. I want to thank the AFA and Conor Bradley for supporting our Share
00:46
the Road to Zero campaign. Conor Bradley is a role model on the pitch and off the pitch,
00:51
and is appealing to us all, young and old, to ensure everything we do on the road
00:56
ensures that you arrive home safely and those you share the road arrive home safely.
01:01
Support Conor, support the Share the Road to Zero campaign.
