00:00There is no evidence linking the former Prime Minister in the Ministry of Finance, Masyitah Ibrahim and her husband

00:07to the human trafficking syndicate in Myanmar.

00:10The head of the state police, Razarduddin Hussein, said there was no investment made by Masyitah,

00:15including several other individuals abroad claimed to be linked to the affected syndicate.

00:21He said based on the analysis of several individual bank accounts,

00:25the money found in the account was savings.

00:30Razarduddin said the investigation so far has not yet found solid evidence linking the human trafficking syndicate,

00:37but is investigating the role of a Dato' Sri who is suspected of being a potential investor in Myanmar.

00:45On 29 August, Masyitah made a police report and gave an explanation in Bukit Aman

00:50in connection with the charges of linking it to the human trafficking syndicate activity.

00:56Those who deny the existence of such activities,

01:00have been arrested by the Indonesian media.
