00:00 Taib Mahmud is in safe after being reported to be taken out of a private hospital yesterday,

00:08 said the Sarawak Police Commissioner, Manca Atta.

00:10 He also confirmed that the former Sarawakian officer is now in his residence in Kuching, Sarawak,

00:16 with his wife, Ragat Kurdi Taib.

00:19 Earlier, the police confirmed that they received a report that claimed Taib was taken out of a private hospital.

00:26 Manca was reported to have been investigated following Section 336 of the Penal Code,

00:32 which is the act of theft to endanger the lives or safety of others.

00:37 According to the police report, Taib 87 was taken out of the regular medical unit of the Normah Medical Center in Kuching

00:45 on Saturday night.

00:47 A family member was reported to have taken all medical equipment from Taib's body

00:52 without informing the hospital staff and taking him out on a wheelchair before getting into the vehicle.
