00:06This is what Perikatan Nasional Chairman Muhyiddin Yassin had to say in response to the graft

00:10probe into the Wan Bastari Net project, which was awarded during his tenure as Education

00:15Minister.

00:16Muhyiddin said the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has every right to investigate

00:20the matter, but insisted that the tender process was conducted transparently, Sinar Harian

00:25reported.

00:26He said an international open tender was proposed at the time, and that he did not see the contract

00:31or any of its provisions.

00:33Muhyiddin also said the final decision was made by the then-Finance Minister, Najib Razak.

00:40On Wednesday, MACC reportedly raided YTL Communications' Sindiran Berhad's office and a government

00:46office in its probe into the now-defunct RM4 billion project, which was awarded to the

00:50company in 2011.

00:53A source in the anti-graft agency had said the probe was focused on false claims involving

00:57about RM2.7 billion.
