00:12The serious allegations claims the software was acquired while former President Iván
00:16Duque was in office.
00:18Precisely, the country's information and financial analysis unit informed Petro of
00:23the irregularities found, among them the payment in cash of over 11 million dollars allocated
00:29to Israel for the software's services.
00:32In addition, the head of state revealed that several media outlets would have received
00:36direct information about these illegitimate procedures.
00:47How are they able to smuggle 11 million dollars in cash out of the country by means of one
00:52or two flights?
00:55They used to do it from state offices, perhaps from the air command for military transportation,
01:01or from the national police, heading for Israel to purchase a software that spies on phone
01:07cells, private communications, politics.
01:11Perhaps they've been spying on us, the main opposition party, for months.
01:17A party that turned into the ruling political force together with its presidential candidate,
01:23now president.
01:25This information was revealed to the regular journal and to a TV channel, so it raises
01:30the question, who else did they intercept?
01:34Were they abided by a judicial order?
01:38That's what the constitution stipulates for those interferences to not be crimes.
