00:00The master had his apprentice. The nameless boy grew up amid the paint pots and false
00:18faces of the mask shop. The boy learned fast, and he was gifted of the old techniques, tying
00:26feathers and mixing pigment.
00:29From the creators of A Fisherman's Tale, which is an absolute fantastic game, here is Maskmaker.
00:37So can it live up to A Fisherman's Tale? Well straight away when you get into the game,
00:44you can feel it has the same type of vibe. It's that kind of game where you just feel
00:50at home in the first 10 minutes of playing it.
00:53You will be taken on the role of a mask maker's apprentice, making masks and travelling to
00:59another place when you put on a mask, taking photos of other masks on a body to get the
01:06blueprints to be able to make them. I know none of this makes sense. Once you have made
01:12this new mask, you can then wear it and take control of the new body.
01:18Think of it like many different islands that cannot be reached unless you teleport to them,
01:24so it's like you're just teleporting via the masks. Whilst you're at these new places,
01:32you will also have to find items that aid you in building new masks.
01:38It really seems like such a simple idea, but it's so cleverly done. The story is a really
01:46nice bedtime Disney-like story. It keeps you engaged and the voice acting is just so
01:52well done. I love the Star Wars type Obi-Wan Kenobi that's in your ear throughout this
01:58game and there's something very comforting about it. Making the masks is actually a very
02:05enjoyable experience, from carving the mask to painting and then adding any items on it
02:12which also might have to be painted.
02:15The puzzles are not hard to solve. They drive you along at a nice pace that you enjoy the
02:22game. The menus are simple to navigate and the controls are really easy. As usual, I
02:29caught this game on a sale and only paid £3.17 for it, so I got so much for my money's worth.
02:38It's a great game with a nice story that's narrated perfectly and will keep you entertained
02:45for around 3-4 hours. So on that, I score The Mask Maker at 26 out of 30. You can find
02:55my scoring system in the description section below. Now please hit that like button if

03:11guys and happy gaming!
03:36But, it seemed that for every wondrous story of The Mask Maker's craft, there was another
03:43rule the boy had to learn. Another rule that showed he was still not yet ready. The Mask
03:49Maker kept his secrets. He would not allow the boy to read his ancient blueprints handed
03:56down from mask maker to mask maker. And the boy could never enter the master's secret
04:02workshop where he created his finest masks. For, it is dangerous to make new faces when
04:10you do not yet know your own.
