-- Description: Gōshū ondo originated in Yōkaichi City, Shiga Prefecture. It is said that a person named Nishizawa Torakichi created a bon odori (bon dance) song called Yōkaichi saimon ondo, based on utazaimon, or religious prayer texts that have become entertainment. For this reason, the lyrics of the old style Gōshū ondo include the line "deroren deroren...," but it has now been almost forgotten.
