00:00PKR's Hasan Karim praised former Prime Minister Ismail Sabriyakub for being fair in his allocations

00:12Hasan said that during Ismail's leadership, there were no major issues regarding allocations,

00:17adding that he was seen as just and fair regardless of party affiliation.

00:21The Pasir Gudang MP contrasted Ismail's tenure with the current controversy over a

00:26draft Memorandum of Understanding concerning allocations for opposition MPs, which has

00:31drawn criticism from Perikatan Nasional.

00:33PN Chief Wipak Yudin Hasan has raised concerns about conditions in the MOU, such as asset

00:39declarations and pledging support to the government.

00:42He said PN is still deliberating on the proposed conditions and plans to meet with affected

00:47MPs.

00:48Hasan also praised Ismail for maintaining the judiciary's independence, adding that

00:52no politicians were rewarded with a conditional discharge.

00:56He also said that during Ismail's leadership, courts enforced guilty verdicts even against

01:00high-profile figures.
