00:00I probably said it four, five times already.

00:06Aces are kind of on the struggle slopes right now, specifically in their defensive element

00:10of their game, which is not going to help them versus a team that can kind of sneak

00:13into the mix.

00:15Desperate teams tend to pull off desperate wins and the Dream have a chance to slide

00:19into that fourth spot in the Eastern Conference and at the top of WNBA today, I mentioned

00:24what better time than to have teams jousting for playoff spots.

00:27The Dream team, or the Dream team that they're trying to be, is that exact example.

00:32Now you got an Aces team that's three and five in their last five games, pulling off

00:37three wins and two of those losses came to the Sun and the Sparks.

00:41When you're looking at the Sun, I mentioned their defensive ability to show up.

00:44They try to keep things pretty low scoring and they did a good job with doing that versus

00:47the Aces.

00:48But it's not a good look when you get outscored 32 to 21 in the fourth quarter versus the

00:53Wings team.

00:54It's just very much, I think they probably have decent rebounding, but outside of that,

00:58the Aces should have had full command of that game.

01:01Yet you got a Dream team that shows up in the first half, kind of keeps your back against

01:06the ropes and then might fizzle out in that second half, more specifically fourth quarter.

01:10There's a lot of fatigue in the Dream in that fourth quarter.

01:13So if the Aces can show up for four quarters today, they have a chance to get in a win

01:17column and maybe show up better for totals or odds.

01:21So the Dream is going to try to slow this game down.

01:23Aces are going to try to come out swinging.

01:25With that being said, I think that we probably want to gauge the total 165 and a half here,

01:31but don't be shocked.

01:32I like the Dream to potentially cover a 10 and a half spread.

01:35It just feels a little big going up against a very inconsistent Aces team.

01:39And when you're lacking defensively, you can allow those teams to get into the mix.

01:43Also keep in mind the Dream just lost by four points to the Storm.

01:47We already said that the Storm are really, really destructive offensively sometimes.

01:51So to be able to tango with a team like that, and then to come into this matchup with a

01:55spread at 10 and a half, I'm not loving it.

01:57I like the Dream to cover.

01:59Players you obviously want to keep an eye on if you want to gauge some player prop bets.

02:03Talked about Wilson being a key asset for her team, obviously keeping this team in any

02:06sort of conversation.

02:08Over her last five games, 135 points, 53 rebounds and 13 assists.

02:13So why not check out some rebounds or point props for your payday?

02:17Then you got Kelsey Plum, obviously 75 points in the last five games, 17 rebounds, 16 assists.

02:23Somebody else who's kind of hit or miss or showing up when it comes to what the Aces

02:25need most just since getting back from the Olympic break.

02:28Never, ever, ever going to disrespect or dismiss her game.

02:31But somebody you obviously want to lay some money on is going to be Tina Charles.

02:35She is tremendous when it comes to rebounds, and she's been one of the key players to keep

02:40the Dream in any sort of potential upset matchup.

02:44As we saw over the last two weeks, the Dream have been good with covering the underdog

02:47conversation and massive spreads, which brings me back to this 10 point spread.
