Police search for man who scalded a baby in Hanlon park

QLD Police are appealing for information after a man allegedly poured a hot liquid over a 9-month-old child in Hanlon Park.

00:00Yesterday afternoon, a nine-month-old baby was with his mother and friends in Hanlon Park at

00:07Stones Corner when a male person who is not known to them has approached the group and has poured

00:12a hot liquid onto the child. The male person has then ran from the scene.

00:18Emergency services were contacted, subsequently attended, and the baby was transported to the

00:22hospital where he has been treated for serious burns but they're non-life-threatening.

00:27And detectives have released CCTV footage depicting a male person running from this scene

00:33shortly after the incident. Detectives are appealing to the public to take their time,

00:37please. Have a look at this footage. If they recognise the person in the footage or if they
