00:05as he visits Peter's Italian Restaurant in Babylon, New York.
00:14Debt collectors were showing up at the restaurant during filming,
00:17something that was probably a normal occurrence.
00:19When Gordon was in the middle of showing them the new menu,
00:21one of the collectors made an appearance and Peter made it into a spectacle.
00:25Well, you are interfering, that's what I'm saying. Go out of the way.

00:28I'm not interfering, I gotta wait two minutes, I gotta talk.

00:34Gordon's polite request to get out of the way didn't do it,
00:37so Peter steps in to try to defuse the situation, but that's not his specialty.
00:44Watch how he shoves Gordon and grabs his sister's arm.

00:54Once outside, their father Yogi takes a hard tumble on the sidewalk.

01:02While the debt collector is helping him up,
01:04Peter hits the guy and continues to challenge him to a fight.
01:07You can see the head chef trying to hold Peter back, who is twice his size.
01:11The debt collector made what could have been a fatal mistake.
01:14He parallel parked in front of the restaurant.
01:16For some reason, he didn't predict Peter going off and not calmly giving him his money.
01:20As we can see, he boxed himself in, making his getaway less than smooth.

01:41Peter is ready to sick his friends on the guy.

01:50The whole situation has Peter seeking nourishment.

01:57Peter is still raging from the interruption, a little too close to Gordon.
02:01You're getting f***ing hot-headed every night.

02:07Gordon assures Peter he tried to tell the guy to go away,
02:10then checks in with Yogi, who isn't phased by the situation.

02:18They fight a lot.
02:20You know, these things happen.
02:21Peter's restaurant is located at 132 Montauk Highway in Babylon, New York.
02:26It's owned by siblings Tina and Peter.
02:29I want to cry or commit bloody murder.
02:31Instead of buying a stove, I bought a suit, you know?
02:33My appearance, my car, my clothes.

02:37I take care of myself and it shows.

02:42Their father Yogi helps out when he can.

02:46Their head chef is Robert,
02:47who works with what he can in the area they call the kitchen.

02:52The shouting from the kitchen seems to be a normal thing to hear in the dining room
02:56if they can't keep it together while Gordon is there.
03:01Let's take a look at some of the dishes Gordon chose from the current menu.
03:05They are homemade, yes.
03:06Enjoy.
03:09Looks terrible, the salad.
03:10And cold in the middle.
03:11And that's not fresh crab meat.
03:13Gross.
03:15That's not even lobster.
03:16That's just like baby food inside gunk.
03:19It's never good when Gordon inspects their food storage.
03:22For some reason, maybe not to be biased,
03:25he eats their food before inspecting the back, which is always bad.
03:29Let's take a look at some of the things he found in this restaurant.
03:32That is sour and has to be four weeks old.
03:35Just, just, just smell that for me.
03:37I just got it off.

03:43Oh, that's right.
03:44Would we really serve that?

03:46Wait, does it just fall under the chef's job?
03:48Gordon likes to be dramatic.
03:50This is one of those times.
03:51You become famous in the next 24 hours for fucking poisoning half of Babylon.
03:55Part of the show is renovating the restaurant, investing money in some way.
03:58Usually they redecorate the dining room or buy new equipment,
04:02which is a surprise to the owner.
04:03Peter was operating and serving food from a kitchen that could barely be called that.
04:08The broiler doesn't work proper.
04:10This oven does not work.
04:11We use it as storage.
04:13We keep our towels and stuff in here.
04:15When was the last time a new piece of equipment was bought in this kitchen?
04:18They never put a nickel into this.
04:20Chef Ramsay puts Peter and Yogi in the kitchen to see if they can cook anything,
04:24since Peter thought it was a good idea to buy a suit instead of a stove.

04:33This is a clusterfuck.
04:35The show renovated the kitchen, giving it the update it truly needed.

04:40This is really a good thing.
04:42Now I can really have a real kitchen.
04:44The new menu was created with fresh homemade dishes,
04:47mostly pasta, with family servings in mind.
04:50Peter's was shut down at the end of 2008.
04:52Their episode aired at the end of 2007.
04:55Tina has been active on social media and she seems to be doing well.
04:59She continued to work in the restaurant industry,
05:01moving to Connecticut for a job in 2012.
05:04It's been said that she went into real estate and is doing well.
05:07Peter isn't hiding, or so it seems, because there's no trace of him on the internet.
05:12It's said that he had connections with the mob, so who knows where he could be.
05:16Yogi died sometime before 2012.
05:18The bar beside the restaurant, called The Post Office,
05:21opened since 1978, bought the restaurant with a fancy new kitchen,
05:25and is still operating today.
