00:05Firefighters raced to the scene of a house fire in Carnforth caused by a lightning strike.

00:11When firefighters arrived on the scene in Carnforth, a first floor bedroom was well alight.

00:17There were no injuries and all people were accounted for.

00:21A woman in her 40s or 50s who was found dead in a tent in Whittleley Woods

00:27on Friday has now been identified.

00:30Police were called on Friday at 11.44am by the ambulance service

00:35to report that a woman had sadly been found dead on Dawson Lane.

00:39Despite the best efforts of officers, the woman had not been identified at the time

00:44with police appealing for help to ensure her family and friends were traced and made aware of the sad news.

00:50Police later said that they had now managed to locate members of the woman's family and now know who she is.
