00:04How did you initially connect with Netflix and why did you feel as though that was the

00:08right platform for this film?

00:10Well, Netflix gave me the great honor of buying my directorial debut out of Toronto Film Festival.

00:18They saw the value in that and so they will forever be close to me because that was my baby

00:26and my baby found a home and I made it independently and I didn't know if it would

00:29get picked up.

00:30I didn't know if it would find a distributor and they picked it up right away and actually

00:34gave me the money to help me finish it.

00:35So Netflix is all right by me.

00:39And this movie was already set up at Netflix when Mark came to me and asked me to be a

00:44part of it and I couldn't have been happier.
