A friend brought in a 2013 Ford Edge with a persistent U3000 "Control Module" code in the ABS module that comes right back after clearing the codes. Please excuse the cop yelling at his K9 over the police radio - our local cops aren't exactly the sharpest tools in the shed.
Update: it wound up being related to a failed water pump and stretched timing chain. Advised the friend to get a more reliable vehicle like a Crown Vic or GMT800 truck.
