Jeff Leinen,from the US state of Arkansas,invited us to accompany him on a trip to his ancestral home in the Saarland.Jeff and his son son Alex are spending two weeks in Mettlach researching their ancestors,who emigrated in the mid-19th centry. Along the way they enjoy the sights of the Saarland,near the borders of both France and Luxembourg. Among the stops on their tour is the Villeroy & Boch Ceramik Museum in Mettlach,where they even receive a little present.
