00:24I've been using it for probably about a month now.

00:27What do you feel about it? Is it convenient?

00:30It is very convenient. It's much more convenient than waiting for the bus.

00:33Because waiting for the bus usually takes about half an hour.

00:36If I miss it, then it's gone.

00:38But this one, I can just book it and ten minutes will arrive

00:41and I can get to my college in about two minutes' time.

00:44Has it been punctual so far?

00:45Yes, very punctual. It's on time. It's very on time.

00:49So even the journey is much faster?

00:52Yes. It only takes ten minutes.

00:55If bus, it's probably about half an hour.

00:57How often do you use it?

00:59Quite often. Every two days once.

01:46I pay RM50 for one month and I can use it.

01:51Following positive feedback from users,

01:53after the service was first launched last year,

01:56Prasarana Malaysia Berhad has procured 300 new DRT vans.

02:01Its President and Group Chief Executive,

02:04Mohamad Azharuddin Matsah,

02:06says the RM1 fare is an introduction price

02:09with no plan to increase it yet.

02:11I think the priority for us is quality service

02:14and satisfaction of the customer, which is our passenger.

02:17So, if we see positive feedback,

02:20we will evaluate it.

02:21For now, we will start with the price.

02:26A total of 20 vans are currently in service,

02:30servicing nine corridors in the Klang Valley

02:32and one route in Penang.

02:34The number of routes will also be gradually increased

02:37once the 300 vans arrive in stages.

02:40The rapid DRT service also includes virtual bus stops,

02:44which will be included in stages,

02:46in addition to regular bus stops.

02:49Each van has a maximum capacity of 12 passengers,

02:52excluding the driver,

02:54and is equipped with closed-circuit television cameras

02:57and a tracking system to enhance security.

03:00Operations begin at 6am and end at 11.30pm daily.
