00:00It was when we saw this video online.

00:07Just like you are now, we were completely blown away by this transformation.

00:12So I sent Darren and Dan to Davao City in the Philippines to visit the Cure Hospital,

00:16which provided this life-changing surgery.

00:19And to find out how we can help provide hundreds of more to children born with similar conditions.

00:25When they arrived, Darren met with brother and sister RJ and Sweetie,

00:28who were preparing for their next surgeries.

00:59It's actually really good. My ears aren't big enough.

01:04Then, Darren met Peter, the director of the hospital.

01:07We have a group of persons living primarily in rural areas.

01:10They are families who have given up on finding an opportunity for a life-transforming surgery.

01:16This little girl has just got her cast off,

01:18and she's learning to walk for the first time ever with her straight legs.

01:23Many of these families have never been in a hospital like this before.

01:27They've been pushed away.

01:30While it would appear that our main product is surgeries,

01:34I believe our main product is actually hope.

01:36Hope for a better life.

01:38But they have a waiting list of over 500 kids.

01:41So they cannot manage the cost of this growth

01:43and require urgent funding to continue their incredible work.

01:48Meanwhile, it was time for RJ and Sweetie's surgery.

01:51This would take all day, so Dan and Darren went to explore the island.

02:08I'm good. I'm good.

02:09Once Dan learned how to drive the tricycle,

02:11he took Darren to the highest point on the island.

02:13He has the time for Darren to prove himself if he's actually not afraid of heights.

02:17I used to be brave, but now that I'm old and chicken, terrified.

02:34I don't know how it's possible for me to hate somebody

02:36and love them as much as I do Dan at the same time.

02:41The next morning, RJ and Sweetie were in recovery.

02:43And before we go visit them,

02:44we wanted to surprise Peter with our plan for the hospital.

02:47I'd hoped when we got here that we'd be able to pay for 100 surgeries.

02:51After being here, I want to pay for every surgery that you do for a month over here.

02:57It's amazing. We'll be able to help more families. That's the important thing.

03:02It's not just a surgery, it's changing a person's life.
