00:00I'm going to take in a bit of football history today because it's Hallam versus Lower Breck
00:06in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round today. So I'm going to have a look at the match and see
00:10what the experience is like at Hallam's ground, Sandgate, which is of course the oldest football
00:16ground still in use in the country. So that's great! I paid six quid to get in and I saw three
00:24goals and saw some entertaining football in a stadium that was pretty nice. It's not enormous
00:31but it's got all the facilities that you want and it was entertaining and I wasn't the only
00:38one there. There were nearly 700 people there and that's the start of the FA Cup for this year and
00:43I enjoyed it. I asked some of the fans after the game how they enjoyed watching Hallam.
00:50What do you like about watching Hallam? I'm a football fan and I like to see other football
00:59games. I'm from Germany, supporting Bayern Mönchengladbach. The match was on today,
01:07I was in Sheffield with my scooter so that's the thing. Can you tell me what you enjoy
01:15about watching Hallam? I came all the way from Kuwait so it's far out. This is my first visit
01:22to Hallam Football Club. What did you enjoy about it? I like non-league football. The atmosphere is
01:28excellent. It's been a wonderful journey and I like it because it's the oldest stadium in the
01:38world. Have you come especially for this from Kuwait? Well I do ground-hopping. I came to
01:44Leeds and I saw this game here so I just came all over from Leeds to watch this game. Yesterday I
01:50was in London watching Fischer so today is Hallam's day. Well done Hallam! Can you tell
01:56me why you enjoy watching Hallam matches? The atmosphere and the celebration really. It's
02:04such a good game of football and honest and a bit different from going to watch a professional game.
02:10You can have a drink while you're at the match and get food and everything so it's
02:15just the overall occasion. Are you a regular? I'm a season ticket holder, yeah.
