Cat Brings Her New Mom Flowers Every Single Day

Stray cat keeps bringing this woman flowers every day until she becomes her mom. We talked to the mom about the moment she realized her new cat was pregnant and what it was like to deliver kittens in her bed!

00:00That's one from this morning and there may be sometimes two a day.

00:11She likes to go to the garden where all the camellia bushes are.

00:16She just happens to love that smell and that's why she is drawn to them.

00:20And then once she's got them in her mouth, she's very gentle with them and she will drop

00:24them like nearby in the house or just by the front doors or something.

00:29Hi.

00:30Oh.

00:32Wow.

00:33You have to tell me how this started and why.

00:41I came home from work one day and there's all these flowers on like the bed and the

00:46floor.

00:47And then when my partner got in from work, I was like, thanks for the flowers.

00:50He was like, what do you mean?

00:52Where have these flowers come from?

00:54At the same time, there was this cat around the neighborhood and she would come to my

00:59bedroom window out the back of the house and like meow outside the window.

01:04One night I caved because it was just really freezing and I was like, this cat clearly

01:07wants to come inside.

01:08And she's there with the flower in her mouth.

01:10And I was like, oh my gosh, it's the cat that's bringing the flowers.

01:15We let her in and she slept on our bed.

01:18She didn't really leave.

01:19She sort of hung around the house and around like our garden area heaps after that.

01:30I put her in a crate and took her to the vets to see if she'd been microchipped, which she

01:34hadn't.

01:37We also found out she was pregnant.

01:40I think at that moment, I just, I realized that we needed each other.

01:44We decided, okay, let's get these kittens safely delivered and find their forever homes.

01:53She was so calm and relaxed all through her pregnancy.

01:56Every night she would snuggle between me and my partner and it was just making sure that

02:00she felt really safe.

02:03So she birthed these kittens on our bed inside like this little cute box we'd made for her.

02:12The fact that we got to be a part of it and the fact that she felt comfortable enough

02:14for us to sort of be around, it was like the cutest thing I've ever seen.

02:20The cat charity that's local to this area took the kittens for us.

02:24We then got fiddy de-sexed and then we moved into the house that had like eight, nine,

02:29ten camellia bushes.

02:35The camellia flower symbolizes deep devotion, appreciation.

02:40So it's really interesting that that's the one she's picked.

02:44We just love each other so much and the flowers are a bonus.

02:49She is my soulmate.
