The play well brick Lego exhibition in Armidale featuring amazing constructs and Lego architecture
Transcript
01:00Lego Exhibition, 90% of the models here were built by myself.
01:29There's lots of different things, there's Lego sets, there's custom builds, there's adaptations of Lego sets and a lot of different things here.
01:39I think we've got over 35 tables of custom built displays.
01:43In addition to that we've got the play tables up the back as you can see are quite popular with the kids building their own creations and that.
01:49A lot of kids just love spending time up there doing that sort of stuff.
01:54The popularity of Lego worldwide, it seems quite popular already here.
01:59It's huge. I've never done a show in Armidale, this is the first time I've been here and the response has been fantastic.
02:06What other towns have you been through?
02:09I'm based in Woolloongong but we go all over New South Wales and down into Victoria.
02:13We go to Dubbo, Tamworth, Wagga, Forbes, Parks, up to Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie, Central Coast, down South, Woolloongong, Albury, just all over.
02:24What kind of Lego are we talking about here because there's different kinds of Lego, there's duplex, there's...
02:30The duplex, the Technic and the system Lego, it's mainly system Lego which is the standard stuff you'd buy at your Big W and K Mart and all that sort of stuff.
02:38But I myself, I buy the pieces individually. I buy a lot from Germany, there's a lot of bulk Lego in Germany.
02:44So I buy a lot from Germany for pieces that I need.
02:49And what kind of things?
02:50Lots of different things that appeal to all different age ranges.
02:53There's architecture builds, Star Wars, post-apocalyptic builds, Micropolis, Friends builds, something sort of for everybody.
03:02One of the more popular ones is probably the mosaics up the back, Bluey and Chase, that's very popular with young and old.
