00:00We sincerely hope that boxing will be on the programme for 2028.

00:05It's a sport, not just a good sport to watch, it's also a sport which does an awful lot

00:11in terms of socially deprived areas and socially deprived people.

00:16So we absolutely actively want it to be on the Olympic Games, which is why we took our

00:22role in the last two Games.

00:24But we are not a federation.

00:27We don't want to carry on doing that.

00:29That's the work of a federation.

00:30So we would really encourage those who love boxing, and particularly the national federations,

00:37to help us to work towards a new federation that can have that.

00:42I'm optimistic, very optimistic.

00:45And as I say, the will is there, which is kind of important with the IOC.
