A Barnsley accent and knocking two terraced houses into one equals Instagram sensation

One couple's journey to turn two mid-terraced houses in Barnsley into one fabulous family home

00:00We're Liam and Nikki and we're knocking two terrace houses into one family home.

00:0311 years ago we bought the house on the left and it needed a full renovation.

00:07We set about doing it ourselves and with the help of family and tradesmen when needed,

00:11we made it into a house we loved but soon realised we needed more space.

00:15We ripped apart the loft conversion and then extended the extension.

00:19With the help from builders who are also friends,

00:21we set about creating our perfect bedroom with an ensuite and just look at that view.

00:25That's one of the reasons we never wanted to leave.

00:27When we thought we were finished and near in future we would have to be creative

00:31as our family grew, we were given the opportunity to buy next door.

00:35We posted about it on Instagram and that's when things got crazy.

00:39Even though our home looks finished in some rooms,

00:42we're nowhere near finished and we're still living in the renovation.

00:46We're still working on the floor plan and how to join the two extensions together.

00:50Not only has the house doubled in size but so has our gardens.

00:54There's been a crazy amount of grafts so far and there's loads more to do

00:58and we've already created a lifetime's worth of dust but we absolutely love it here
