Freedom was a television series that aired on UPN in the year 2000.

The show introduces us to a world where war ignites in the Middle East, which leads to

an economic downturn in America resulting in mass unemployment and homelessness.

The President of the United States travels extensively to resolve the situation, but

unfortunately, Air Force One crashes and the President is presumed dead.

The United States falls under the control of a military regime that takes over in an

invisible coup, labeling themselves as the regime.

Four military personnel from different sections of the armed services are arrested and later

imprisoned, accused of unknown charges.

One of them reveals that he was ordered to assassinate the President but refused, and

false charges were brought against him.

The four military personnel are later freed by unknown rebels and join hands with a wider

resistance movement against the military government.

Their mission is to restore the Constitution and bring freedom back to the people.
