00:04Chelsea Handler has some choice words for J.D. Vance over his childless cat lady comments.
00:10Last week, comments that Donald Trump's vice presidential running mate made in 2021 resurfaced
00:15online, where he was seen saying that the U.S. was being run by, quote,
00:19a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices they've made,
00:24and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too.
00:27Handler chose to respond to those comments via Instagram.
00:30Listen up, you wingnut elegy. This country is still controlled by men in systems that were set
00:35up by men that are carefully crafted to continue to benefit men.
00:39She went on to note that there is no correlation between being childless and the presidency,
00:43saying, for example, our very first United States President, Mr. George Washington,
00:48didn't have children. In fact, he had two stepchildren.
00:50She added, to your point about Kamala not being fit because she's not a mother,
00:54I'd like to remind you that no president in the history of the United States has ever been a
00:58mother. Maybe if she had five kids with three different men and a scandalous affair with a
01:03porn star and was convicted felon, that would be more palatable to Republican men.
01:08Handler went on to refer to Vance as a, quote,
01:10diet mountain dew drinking couch humping dolphin porn aficionado and said,
01:15all of us childless cat and dog ladies are going to go from childless and crushing it
01:19to childless and crushing you in November.
01:22Handler is not the only Hollywood figure to offer a response to Vance's comments.
01:26Jennifer Aniston wrote on Wednesday, all I can say is Mr. Vance,
01:30I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day.
