00:00
We are launching a program called PPR, which is a quick win project.
00:13
There are 64 houses involved in this program.
00:18
We will carry out this program until December.
00:23
Among the activities that we carry out today,
00:26
for example, we carry out the Goto Royong,
00:28
we carry out the activity of cutting down trees,
00:34
lifting heavy vehicles, cars, motorcycles, etc.
00:40
We cut down 86 trees in Primahan Awam Serikota.
00:51
We have cut down 28 trees.
00:54
We are also looking at other areas,
00:57
following the phase.
00:58
We will also hire contractors
01:01
to implement the program of cutting down trees.
01:07
Then planting trees.
01:08
This is important because the trees that are cut down
01:11
must be replaced in order to meet the needs
01:14
of greenery and other programs related to carbon emissions.
01:21
We have done this in several places.
01:25
For example, in Primahan Awam Serikota,
01:27
we have planted 116 trees.
01:31
In PPR Seri Malaysia, we have planted 44 trees.
01:35
We have identified the use of cars.
01:39
We have identified that there are 447 vehicles.
01:46
The number of vehicles that have been detected
01:49
is 1,187, which means there are 1,634 vehicles.
01:54
But we can't carry out,
01:57
I mean, we can't just lift them up
01:59
if we find the vehicles that have been detected.
02:01
Because we have to have a due process.
02:03
We plan to implement the cut-down trees
02:08
in 30 areas.
02:10
And God willing, we have implemented 20 areas.
02:12
And God willing, we will do the rest
02:15
until August 2024.
02:18
To implement the cut-down trees,
02:20
and this involves the community,
02:22
and several NGOs and our strategic partners
02:25
in implementing these welfare programs.
02:29
This project or program will not succeed
02:31
if it does not involve everyone.
02:34
Everyone means the involvement of the DPKL
02:37
or the authorities themselves,
02:39
the authorities.
02:41
Then the most important residents
02:43
and other strategic partners.
02:45
So we encourage each PPR
02:48
so that the residents themselves can also play a role.
02:51
Because we can make a program at once,
02:53
but to maintain health
02:56
or beauty and so on,
02:58
it also needs the commitment of the residents.
03:01
Thank you.
