00:00Mainly, we use recycled stuff in our artwork, so we find cool candy dishes or ashtrays,
00:08things like that.
00:09We make flowers out of them, and then the wire we use is recycled aluminum.
00:13We go from small little jewelry to big installation.
00:19Like their art, the 2,500-square-foot, five-bedroom, three-bath property also makes fabulous use
00:25of repurposing found materials.
00:28When we bought it, it was basically beige-brown, and there were virtually no landscape around
00:33it whatsoever.
00:34We were really good at salvaging.
00:35All the buildings on the property are basically repurposed.
00:40Starting at the entry, familiar objects greet visitors and lead them throughout the property.
00:45Instead of rocks to border the flowerbeds that he was creating, we started looking at
00:49bowling balls, and they were colorful, so they would hold the ground and the dirt and
00:54the mounds that he was creating.
00:55And then people started bringing them to us.
00:58Like 80% of them are ones that people have brought.
01:01And here's some of the bowling balls that are in the yard.
01:04We have about 850 total.
01:06This is the pyramid that all came from one bowling alley.
01:09We just had one dropped off today at the yard, so it's an ongoing process.
01:14And here's some more of the bowling balls right here.
01:17These are welcome.
