00:00Hundreds of areas in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor will be experiencing unscheduled water disruptions

00:10today due to the temporary shutdown of four water treatment plants following an odor pollution

00:15incident at Sungai Kundang and Sungai Sembah.

00:19In a statement, Air Selangor said, Kuala Lumpur, Petaling, Klang, Sialam, Gomba, Pulau Selangor,

00:25and Kuala Selangor are experiencing unscheduled water disruptions.

00:29It said it is doing its best to mitigate the impact on consumers, adding that water

00:33tankers have been mobilized to the affected areas.

00:37It said the water cuts were caused by the temporary shutdown of the Rantau Panjang Sungai

00:41Selangor Phase 1, Sungai Selangor Phase 2, and Sungai Selangor Phase 3 water treatment

00:46plants.

00:47Air Selangor added that it would provide regular updates on its social media platforms.
