'The Chestnut Man's' latest venture during the summer months

Yorkshire's famous chestnut man has been busy converting his chestnut stall in time for summer.

00:22It's not quite as good as winter, but I still get a few, Bob, you know what I mean?

00:26I do balloons, sweets, candy floss, and that's most of everything. But I still make a living

00:33like this in the summer, but I do a lot better with the chestnuts in the winter.

00:38And what is popular most in the summer?

00:41The tubes of sweets and the candy floss and the balls. I have a lot of these teddies. They're all

00:46good teddies. They're top quality teddies when I buy. They're £3.50 each. They're £8 in the shops.

00:54Do you miss the chestnuts in the summer months?

00:57Well, I think if I sold them all year round, there'd be no novelty. You know,

01:00when I come back in the middle of October, everybody likes them. But if I sold them all

01:06year round, they'd just get sick of them like they do with everything else, you know what I mean?
