With the first of the snow falling overnight, here's Sophie Mei Lan Malin with this week's weather and what has been dubbed an 'arctic storm.'

00:05Wakefield the snow is already falling and it's going to keep on falling until
00:10Wednesday when it's likely to get worse Wednesday night. Expect snowy showers and
00:17icy spells. The snow and ice is likely to get worse on Wednesday evening as severe
00:23storms are expected. The Met Office predicts that Tuesday will be sunny but
00:29cold with wintry showers expected later on.
