00:00Privileged to make my first contribution in this house on such an ambitious plan

00:04It's not just ambitious because of net zero and climate crisis and about energy security

00:09But also about jobs and opportunities for young people in places like mine. In my constituency

00:14Peterborough College is already building a green technology centre to develop new green apprenticeships

00:19And we have plans for a clean energy transition centre

00:22So can I ask Secretary of State would you put on record your commitment to work with trade unions communities colleges and others?

00:29So that we can move from blue-collar to green-collar

00:32Apprenticeships and give young people a general give young people an opportunity to succeed in life as we meet our climate and energy needs
