Lajolla Cove California sea lion's birth and joyful celebrations

While filming at Lajolla Cove in California, Jessica Marsh witnessed an extraordinary scene.

At first glance, it looked like a carnage had taken place, with blood visible on the shore.

However, it turned out to be a beautiful moment of nature. A sea lion had just given birth, bringing a new addition to their family.

The other sea lions were celebrating this joyous occasion.

The scene became even more lively when seagulls arrived, ready to munch on the afterbirth.
