R Garage's Richmond So on the Toyota AE86

‘Initial D’ fans, does this car look familiar? The AE86 is just one in Richmond So’s collection of retro Toyota cars at R Garage.

00:00Okay, so this is the AE86.

00:07This car became famous because of the anime Initial D. It was really good for drifting.

00:12It's very famous, especially in Japan.

00:15When we got this car, it looked like the Initial D car.

00:18The panda looking with the tofu sign.

00:21It was nice and when we were driving it in the road, really people were, wow, that's

00:26the anime car, that's the Initial D car.

00:29It was not so good, the condition.

00:31We had to remove everything, just the whole shell of the car, restore the whole and everything.

00:37As you can see, it's not the panda color anymore.

00:40It's red because when we look at the plate, the original color was this color.

00:45And since we were planning on really showcasing it someday, usually when I go around, I see

00:5086 that is Initial D look.

00:52It's a fresh thing to see a different color of the AE86.

00:57The AE86 is actually an everyday car.

01:00It's a Corolla.

01:01It was built and sold to the average person to be used on a daily basis.

01:07It just so happens that it became famous in the anime and drifting.

01:11That's why basically the value started going up.

01:15It's not as hard to find as the Supra, maybe, but it's still there, it's still there.
